Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that He being a triune God created all, upholds all and He is a person who desires that His people walk in fellowship with Him, emphasizing love for Him, others as our community, communion, prayer, studying and living out His Word and the many multifaceted ways in which God engages with humanity. 2 Corinthians Chapter 3
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. Matthew 5:18; John 1:1: John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21.
We believe in God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ who is also an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He chose us to be His People and He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of His Chosen; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death ALL who come to Him through Jesus Christ. John 15:16; Acts 2:21
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to Earth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and we must receive Salvation through Him and His finished work. Isaiah 53:1-5; Matthew 1:21-23; John 1:1-3, John 11:25-26; Ephesians 1:17-23; Philippians 2:1-11; 1 Timothy 2:5-6
We believe in the Holy Spirit, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, to establish His people in His righteousness; bring the fire of revelation to purify, transform, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit. Matthew 3:11; John 1:12-13; John 3:1-15; John 15:26-27; John 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 5:18
We believe that all men were born into sin and were sinners by nature and choice therefore under condemnation BUT God regenerates through revelation of His Word and repentance; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer in the Holy Spirit, filling with Power and His Anointing for service and continuous transformation, sanctifying His People by His Word and keeping them by Spirit. Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:9-18; Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:1-10
We believe in the Church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all born again believers are members. We believe that a local church is a fellowship of believers who are a part of the Body of Christ, voluntarily banded together in the covenant of faith for worship; serving the Body and House of the Lord as He has gifted and Anointed His people to faithfully serve the vision and mission of the Fellowship established by the Pastoral Leadership that the Lord has set in the House. We believe faithful serving includes attendance of services and needs of the house; use of talents and gifts for the ministry and services of the House; praying and interceding for one another as a body; financial commitment for the ministry for the upkeep and building of the kingdom; a faithful commitment to be a witness in our daily living that reflects His love and Who it is that we serve in the fellowship of Community Full Gospel Church. Acts 2:47, 1 Corinthians 1:2, 1 Corinthians 12:28, 1 Corinthians 14:12, Ephesians 5:27, Colossians 1:18, 1 Timothy 3:15, Hebrews 10:25
We believe in Repentance of Sins, baptism by immersion of water and communion open to all believers. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ desires our lives to be risen with Christ in Baptism as an outward expression or witness of our hearts commitment and ongoing transformation. We believe that God desires for us to Commune with Him by receiving The Lord’s Supper often. Partaking of the Lord’s Supper in Remembrance of Him: His body and blood that established the New Covenant brought by His death, burial and resurrection. Matthew 3:11, Acts 2:38, Luke 22:19, Hebrews 12:24, 1 Corinthians 3:23-34
We believe in Anointing with Anointing Oil that is prepared as directed in scripture for the purpose of Anointing vessels to receive healing and/or to dedicate vessels to be used in service for the Lord. James 5:14, Exodus 29:21, Leviticus 8:2, Leviticus 8:30
We believe in the Anointing with oil and laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for ordination and consecration of servants whether male or female who have accepted the call of God upon their lives to serve the body of Christ. Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16, John 1:33, Acts 2:38 Acts 8:18, 1 Timothy 4:14, Hebrews 6:2
We believe that the Kingdom of God came in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, that it continues to expand by the ministry of the Holy Spirit through the Church, and that it will be consummated in the glorious, visible, and triumphant appearance of Christ when He returns to the earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We believe that believers should rule and reign here now on this earth by the means provided to us by Him through His Word and Spirit to do so. We believe that after Christ returns that the final judgment and the eternal blessing of the righteous will take place. At that time, the Kingdom of God will be completely fulfilled in the new heavens and the new earth, in which all His kingdom believers will dwell and He will be worshipped forever. Corinthians 15:20-28, 50-58; Philippians 3:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; Revelation 19:1-21
We believe that God’s justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor and mercy for the oppressed. With God’s Word, the Spirit’s power, and fervent prayer in Christ’s name, we are to overcome the spiritual forces of evil. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to make disciples among all people, to raise sons and daughters, transform minds, to build character and always bear witness of the Gospel in Word and Deed.
